Hurricane Hilary Hits Southwest U.S.

As the storm moves into California and Arizona this morning it will weaker to a “Tropical Storm”, but all that indicates is that the winds will be below the 74.6 mph threshold to be a hurricane.

There is a serious threat of flooding from the deserts of California and Arizona all the way north into Idaho and eastern Oregon.

There hasn’t been a tropical storm in California for the past 84 years!
